by  B_Campbell, top reviewer in Games ,  Apr 23, 2006
Pros: Classic Tetris gameplay with a modern twist. Or modern twists. Wi-fi play.
Cons: No guns or boobies.
The Bottom Line: The best version of classic Tetris yet. Six play modes and wi-fi play give it serious lasting appeal.
Review: Tetris DS is, quite simply, the best version of Tetris ever, and the best puzzle game for the Nintendo DS. Let's say you're from some other planet and you've never heard of Tetris. You could pop this game in your Nintendo DS and start off in Standard ...

Pros: Many modes of play for single and multiple players; Nintendo fan service; It's Tetris!

Pros: Addictive; graphics; sound; gameplay; replay value; old-school themes.
Cons: Hold button could be repositioned.
The Bottom Line: Tetris DS is a nearly flawless execution of the classic puzzle game. It needs to be in every DS owner's library.
Review: There's something I've noticed about Tetris DS: you buy it thinking it will be a great way to spend some time when you're bored. But no. Pretty soon you lock yourself in your bedroom, your family wonders why you aren't eating, and friends start ...

Epinions Tetris with that Nintendo TOUCH!!!

by  nkretz,  May 2, 2006
Pros: Fun, addicting, nice presentation, Nintendo themes
Cons: May get boring after a couple years, but maybe not
The Bottom Line: An excellent mix of old and new. Tetris is still a great puzzle game that just won't die. DS owners shouldn't hesitate for this one.
Review: Holy crap, this game makes me so angry. Each and every time I pick it up and play I waste so much time! Always trying to get more lines than you did the last time. Taunting you. Making you hunger for more. More points. More glory. Ok enough of that. Oh ...

Pros: Online play and multiple gameplay modes.
Cons: Not every mode is available online.
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a solid online game for the DS, or just a good game to keep with you, you really can't go wrong with Tetris DS.
Review: Just excatally how many versions of Tetris do you need? You would think that the classic Game Boy version from Nintendo would have been enough. But no, companies like THQ and EA had to get ahold of the property as well, and spoil the game for future ...
