Epinions Fad or fantastic?

by  32_Footsteps, lead in Games ,  Feb 2, 2000
Pros: Strong game, clean sotryline, good concept, social game
Cons: Pain to get Mew, doesn't follow the story of the cartoon
Review: Usually, I avoid anything that smacks of being a fad. I never watched an episode of Power Rangers. I never liked Nirvana. And you still can't get me to listen to any of the bubblegum pop on the radio nowadays. But even I have my moments when I...

Epinions Meet the newest Pokemon: the Cash Cow.

by  StarSoldier1, top reviewer in Games ,  Sep 4, 2006
Pros: This is a great take on the standard RPG.
Cons: The graphics and sounds stink for a game this good.
The Bottom Line: If you are sick of those fruity RPG's starring wimpy dudes with blonde spiky hair then try this instead.
Review: POKEMON BLUE (Nintendo/Game Freak, 1998) It's Labour Day today and now is a great time to take it easy and let someone else do the work for you. The Pokemon Blue game here is just a small part of the million dollar franchise and it is one game ...

Epinions Pokemon Blue-My kid enjoys it!

by  AngelaBar,  Sep 18, 2000
Pros: Excellent ease of navigation, diversity, music
Cons: Single Player only
Review: My daughter's first gameboy arrived today, along with Pokemon Blue, the first game she has requested. She was absolutely thrilled when she walked in the door and hasn't stopped playing it since!
It took seconds to get the game going: simply sliding...

Epinions Can't catch 'em all with just this

by  swanton00, top reviewer in Games ,  Mar 9, 2002
Pros: Much replay value
Cons: graphics
The Bottom Line: ummm, its in the review....
Review: I never heard of a person that didn't know what Pokemon was. About a year and half ago, the big Pokemon craze ended which lasted about two years. I was one the millions who were hooked on it. The games, the tv show, the figures, the trading card game, I...

Epinions Surprisingly fun

by  jeditrickster,  Jan 13, 2000
Pros: Good, clean, fun
Cons: Addicting
Review: Pokemon Blue, is one of now three released Gameboy games from Nintendo. In the game, players are placed into the game by putting their name in and acting as a Pokemon (beginner) trainer. Players then receive their first Pokemon, and set out for their...

Epinions Pokemon Blue, it's a shame that kids like it :)

by  Cosmofind.com,  May 8, 2000
Pros: Great fun, Deep story, worth every penny
Cons: Crappy graphics (Gameboy) Similar to the other gameboy pokemon games (diffrent pokemon's though)
Review: I'm a big fan of rpg games, and it makes me feel a little uncomfortable to say that I like pokemon blue. At first, I thought that the game was going to be a joke; I heard about all the pokefanatic kids running around watchting their kids show, but upon...

Epinions Pokemon: Annoying, yet Intriguing...

by  212103,  Oct 29, 2000
Pros: Overall the game is great.
Cons: Pokemon are just getting annoying
Review: Argh, everywhere you go these days it's pokemon, Pokemon, POKEMON! I'm really getting sick of both Pokemon and Digimon, yet I had to try out the game that started the madness. Afterall, it must be pretty good to get so many worshipers, right? Well,...

Epinions A great first program

by  runwild58,  Apr 23, 2000
Pros: -Great Game -Good Link Cable Usage -Great replay value
Cons: -All three games are the same -Not all 150 pokemon on this game, so they try to make you buy more games
Review: This is more of a review for if you haven't bought this game, red or yellow version before. I'm going to rate this very high, but look to my red and yellow reviews if you are thinking of buying a second one, they are all about the same.

First...

Epinions Pokemon Blue

by  heidiUK,  Oct 2, 2000
Pros: peace, quiet, tranquility, lack of eight year old noise in my house
Cons: it's a video game, and I don't approve of them!
Review: I have never played this, being 27 and therefore at least ten years old to understand anything other than Tetris (which I'm rather good at, since we're on the subject).

I finally gave in and bought my eight-year-old son a Gameboy for his...

Epinions A good combo

by  HALEY77,  Dec 29, 1999
Pros: fun to play and an adventure every time
Cons: may not interest all kids
Review: I think a good video game for kids shouldn't be too hard or they will give up right away. But, it shouldn't be too easy for it is to be beaten to fast and then the game isn't used. That is why my kids that this game, it isn't hard, but there are still...
