For the screen alone, I'd pay twice as much.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned enough in other reviews, is the screen on the N95. The only time I've ever not been able to see the screen is when deliberately trying to reflect the sun into my eyes. It has a semi-reflective backing to the LCD screen, allowing you to see anything on the screen clearly even in full sun. In fact, in extremely bright conditions, it will turn off the backlight completely (you won't even notice when this happens unless you go into a tunnel and the backlight turns back on after 1-2 seconds.

The semi-reflective screen backing also means that even when the phone is in standby you can clearly see the status display, indicating any texts, e-mails, missed calls, whether the phone is in silent mode, time and date, and voicemails that are waiting/missed.

The feature list is much shorter if you just list the one thing it doesn't have - touchscreen. However, if you don't like having your fingers blocking the screen and prefer tactile buttons, you will see this as a good thing like I do.

While the screen is not as big as a certain touchscreen smartphone, whenever I am texting/emailing/entering contact info or ANYTHING else that requires input beyond pointing, I have the WHOLE screen available, since 1/2 or more of it is not filled up by a keypad.

Another issue I've had, is that since this phone was never heavily supported by any US carrier, the games are harder to find in English than other languages. There are, however, still more than enough to choose from.

Another major point on this phone is the volume. It has stereo speakers which can go to a very high level, great for sharing music with your friends. The bad part is that there is no control over the volume level in programs, which default to VERY loud. If the programs have no volume control of their own, (most at least allow mute) be prepared to share with everyone.

Another selling point is Nokia's PC Suite; while it handles all the expected functions - sync, file management, etc. - there is also Nokia Maps, which allows you to pre-load maps (avoiding large file transfers or any on-the-fly downloads) including points of interest to your phone. This allows you the equivalent of a location-based phonebook in a completely offline mode.

While on the subject of maps, in addition to the great Nokia Maps, which (for a subscription price) offers turn-by-turn voice navigation, you can purchase Garmin Mobile XT, TomTom, Route 66 all available with turn-by-turn directions with no subscription fees, unlike the unnamed touchscreen phone, which will likely only offer such features for a service-provider based subscription.
