Epinions Hmm...Yes and No?

by  mmspurge,  Jan 31, 2008
Pros: Great picture quality, cheap, canon, small, zoom
Cons: Red eye, flash time (absolutely slow!)
The Bottom Line: I recommend this to anyone who wants a cheap decent camera but beware of the Shutter Lag!!!
Review: Ok this Canon has ups and it has downs. First off the price is right at 130 with free rechargeable batteries and a free 1 gb memory card this cannot be beat! Before purchasing I went to my local store and played around with several cameras. I realized ...

Epinions multifunctional camera

by  astreete13,  Apr 22, 2008
Pros: 4x optical zoom, price, picture quality, screen size, many features for moderate to advanced user
Cons: slightly overwhelming for basic user, flash is long and may cause blinking in young children
The Bottom Line: This is a good camera, but would not recommend to a basic user. Recommend for a moderate to advanced user to get use out of all the great features.
Review: I got this camera as a gift and have been fairly satisfied with it. The 4x optical zoom is a great step up from my old digital camera and that is the main reason my husband bought it. The other reason is the price. You don't find many 4x optical zooms ...

Epinions I Would Never Use a Digital Camera, Until Now...

by  LRai,  Jan 7, 2008
Pros: Great low light shots and alot of bang for the buck, easy to use.
Cons: Not a long battery life and a long recycle time especially with low light photos.
The Bottom Line: A great little digital camera for very little money that can take great low light photos. I would recommend it to anyone who is going digital for the first time.
Review: I had sworn on a stack of holy books that I would never be sucked into the digital world, then I went to China. I have always liked to shoot film. There is in my opinion nothing better than film. I own a very nice Canon camera with two lens that is my ...

Epinions Canon disappoints on this model

by  jwanders,  Oct 28, 2008
Pros: Compact, easy to use, large LCD display, uses standard AA batteries, power efficient.
Cons: Lackluster image quality, long flash recycle time, LCD scratches easily, SD card hard to access.
Review: All in all this is a fair quality camera, but I feel like it's a big step backward from the older 3MP Canon PowerShot I had previously.  This camera has 7MP resolution, but the pictures lack the color and brilliance of the older camera and the extra ...

Epinions This camera is NOT for beginners!

by  oohbaby,  Jan 2, 2008
Pros: A lot of options for experienced photo takers
Cons: Complicated, poor pictures, limited editing capabilities
Review: I had a Kodak Easyshare that was dying after 3 years so bought the Canon Powershot based on reviews I read. As far as ease of use it may be easy if you have time to read all the instructions and can actually understand them! I'm used to taking ...

Epinions Erroneous low battery indicator

by  tube,  Jul 2, 2008
Pros: Good video and snapshots
Cons: Developed erroneous low battery problem. Other internet reports of same problem.
Review: Good pictures, video and price, and CHDK (free software to upgrade Canon cameras, see google) works well. However, after a few months, may A560 gave the message "replace batteries" immediately after I put in new batteries, or in its better moods it let ...

Epinions Never Again will I buy Canon!!!

by  rwa99,  Dec 20, 2007
Pros: Camera was cheap to buy, but you get what you pay for.
Cons: Poor pictures, poor quality, Canon warranty RIP OFF
Review: Bought the Canon A560 at Office Depot, and paid extra for the OD extended warranty. I was not thrilled about the quality of the pictures this camera takes, but figured its alright for a cheap camera. Two months later the lens started sticking when ...
