Epinions Bomber Man MAX 2! Kinda..

by  gaminglord,  Dec 4, 2001
Pros: 4 player link; classic bombs; great graphics; revised battle; I love bomberman (See other reviews)
Cons: Charabom's mistranslated into Karabons (um...); suddenly Pommydoesn't know you (he saved the universe with you..)
The Bottom Line: A great game, with classic multiplayer action. One of those, if you own the system, buy it, games.
Review: The newest installment in the somewhat unofficial "series" Bomber Man MAX, which starts with the evil battles against Rukifelth, and ends up here. In Bomber Man MAX, you meet some bomber with the Electric Bomb, (Found in Baku-Bomber Man 64 2), named Max....

Epinions Bombs, Bombs, Everywhere

by  the_spoon,  Jul 22, 2001
Pros: Single Game Pac Multiplayer, Easy controls
Cons: Normal GBA Game Cons(lighting, glare, etc)
The Bottom Line: Looking for a GREAT multiplayer game with a decent single-player game as backup? Go buy Bomberman Tournament.
Review: So you think placing a few bombs down to kill baddies while avoiding their explosion is an easy thing huh? Think again. Bomberman Tournament can turn out more difficult then one might guess. There are 2 modes in the game; Quest and Battle.

Epinions If you never owned a Bomberman title before now's your chance!

by  jimmiemac,  Jul 24, 2001
Pros: Fast paced multi player fun.
Cons: Not enough multiplayer arenas
The Bottom Line: This is one of the BEST games on the GBA and although it may not have the best story mode, the multi-player mode more then makes up for it.
Review: First off, I must say that this is the BEST Bomberman game that I've played so far. Okay, now that the introductions are out of the way, we'll get on to the more important stuff.

Gameplay-10/10
Now this is where this game shines. There...

Review: Boom! Another explosion from Bomberman Tournement. If you liked the N64 Version of this game you will love this portable version. The Bad Bomber is back. This time Bomberman is on another journey to save the world. Like always, he will meet intresting...

Epinions Bomberman exploding on your GBA

by  ss3goku,  Jul 11, 2001
Pros: the battle mode
Cons: Quest mode is not very creative
The Bottom Line: What are you waiting for, get this game! Friends or no friends, you'll enjoy it and you always the the quest mode to fall back on
Review: It's times like these when you feel great owning a Game Boy Advance. For the library of games that we have been getting acquainted with in less then a month have already shaken our lives upside down. Remakes have been created, Series have been continued,...

Epinions Best Multiplayer Action Available on Your GBA!

by  trustedun,  Jul 20, 2001
Pros: Multiplayer is a deep, entertaining romp for up to four friends.
Cons: Quest mode and turn based creature combat could have been done better. Graphics standard.
The Bottom Line: Looking for an entertaining 4 player multiplayer opportunity? This is your game. Looking for a deep action/adventure or turn based pet combat game? These have been done better elsewhere.
Review: When I purchased my Gameboy Advance, this was one of the games I looked forward to with eager anticipation. The very thought of linking up with three other friends for some classic explosive Bomberman action was more than enough incentive for me to lay...

Epinions BOOM! Take that, hehehehe!

by  night_vision,  Sep 18, 2001
Pros: Superb gameplay that stands the test of time flawlessly.
Cons: It could have been better in both the quest and Multiplayer modes.
The Bottom Line: Superb gameplay and the sheer joy of blowing things up shine through on this title. Great fun.
Review: So: one of the greatest gaming concepts ever makes itÂ’s debut on the successor to the most successful gaming platform ever (on sheer numbers at least). Surely the ultimate recipe for either success or embarrassing disaster.

Bomberman for the...

Epinions Great multiplayer, bad other adjustments.

by  debri,  Aug 17, 2001
Pros: Best multiplayer game available for GBA, only one game to play with 4 players
Cons: The quest part lacks originality, the Battle part misses some interface features.
The Bottom Line: Bomberman is cool. This version is made for multiplay. If you are a real fan of the concept, don't expect too much of the single player options.
Review: As being a massive Bomberman fan, I was looking out a lot for this game. I played a lot of Bomberman on different platforms and the Wario version on the regular Gameboy was my favorite.

When I bought the game, I was very eager to play. It was...

Epinions ::bombs away

by  okaysamurai,  Nov 26, 2001
Pros: battle mode, replay value, battle mode options
Cons: quest mode too short, pokemon-ish additions
The Bottom Line: Get Bomberman Tournament if you have friends, GBAs and a link cable (not necessarily in that order).
Review: If you've played one bomberman game, you've played them all. They could pretty much put any type of bomberman game on GBA and people would buy it. Portable bomberman...that's all most people want; especially the ability to engage in the infamous...

Epinions It's Bomberman.. and then some!

by  Childish,  Jul 8, 2001
Pros: Multiplayer maddness! it's bomberman.. what more could you want?
Cons: Poke.. no..Digi?.. Mega....hmm Monster Rancher..ish?
The Bottom Line: If you want a good multiplayer game, this is one! The Quest side of the game comes as a added plus.
Review: Quest..or Battle.. That is the question.

We'll start with Battle since it's the easiest to understand.

In most battles (excluding high powered mode) you start in the corner. Luckly a little arrow is given to point out which of those...
