Pros: Graphics, Gameplay, Music
Cons: I think I played this same game on playstation
The Bottom Line: The best Armored Core yet.
Review: Armored Core was loved and hated by many people when it was released a few years ago and the game itself was about building you own mech and taking it out to various missions and getting more money so that you can improve your mech. This same idea was...

Pros: Graphics, options, sound, simple learning curve, and a versus mode that's worth playing!
Cons: PS2 could handle more, graphically and otherwise.
The Bottom Line: Buy it. Ok, ok, at least rent it, then buy it. You won't be disappointed until the end, because you don't want there to be an end.
Review: Armored Core 2 was the first game I got with my PS2, and I had my sights set high. I'm not a fan of fighting games, so I wasn't so optimistic about the Versus mode as I was the rest of the game, which is good. Initially, upon turning the game on, i was...

Pros: Graphics, sound, game play.
Cons: Almost no story line, no co-op, bad VS mode.
The Bottom Line: If you like building stuff, and enjoy realistic mech fights, go for it.
Review: This game requires strategy. Both in combat and in the building process. While at first it may seem simple, it becomes very difficult, semi-fast. There are multipul modes of game play, but it can have repetitions.

Pros: Endless hours of entertainment
Cons: lack of sleep from endless hours of playing
Review: You are now known as a Raven to the Planet Mars and asked to take on special missions, each regarding one or more companies that have so much power they could squash you like a bug. Until you start to develop and hone your skills to such a perfection...

Pros: Graphics, sound, playability
Cons: none that I have found yet.
The Bottom Line: WHy are you still readin this? Go get one. You should like it if your interested in action game. play the store demo if avaliable to help decided.
Review: Ok, When I first got my Playstation I had the demo disk like everyone else and I found a game on it that at the time had stopped being produced, the original Aromored Core. I loved the game play so when AC2 hit the PS2 I begged my brother to purchase it...

Pros: Excellent Graphics and infinite ways to customize your mech
Cons: Bad mission format
Review: This game should be one of the best titles with the launch of PS2. The graphics of this game is excellent. The best thing about this game is the infinite ways you can design your AC(they call the robots ACs). It takes approximately 10 hours for a pro...

Pros: Plenty of customization features are abound. Plus, there's great graphics and sound.
Cons: The stiff controls still remain in the series.
The Bottom Line: Although online was removed from the U.S. version of AC: AA, there's still enough features for yourself and another to last for hours upon hours of gameplay.
Review: As the Armored Core series progresses, I am amazed. Five straight years in a row an Armored Core game has been spewed out of the lion's mouth. Each time, the game proves to still be the most hardcore, fan-based, automation combat game: dedicated to ...

Pros: Intuitive control scheme, easy to pick up and play, deep enough to keep you playing.
Cons: Graphics dont push the hardware, no analog support, this game offers nothing new.
The Bottom Line: There weren't many must-haves during the PS2 launch, but there's no question that Armored Core 2 was one of them. Every PS2 owner should check this game out.
Review: The original Armored Core was an exceptional and highly underrated mech shooter for the original PlayStation. It wasnt exactly cutting edge when it came to graphics, but in terms of sheer depth and playability, there was no game like it that came...

Pros: controls are the same, great graphics.
Cons: difficult to understand rules manual.
Review: When I first got my original Playstation, I bought Armored Core. A great game for all of us hard core table top battle gamers. So of course when I got my PS2, I bought Armored Core 2.

Pros: Good depth of customization, good graphics, good voices and sound FX.
Cons: Too few missions, slows during heavy "combat", some music tracks are weak.
The Bottom Line: Armored Core 2 too short, but a good game with only a few weak spots.
Review: Armored Core 2 for the PS2 is a "robot war" type game. Game play involves building a robot or "AC" unit and doing battle in the "Arena" and performing missions of destruction.
Overall the graphics are a great improvement over other... |
